ComXim Turntable Load-Bearing Principle
The load-bearing capacity of the ComXim turntable is determined based on different operating modes and the physical dimensions of the loaded object.
1. Maximum Stepping Mode Load
This refers to the maximum weight the turntable can support while maintaining accurate stepping angle control. It is recommended to operate at no more than 80% of the maximum stepping mode load to ensure precision and long-term reliability.
2. Maximum Continuous Rotation Load
his indicates the maximum weight the turntable can rotate continuously without considering the rotation angle per movement. It is also recommended to use only up to 80% of this maximum load to reduce mechanical wear and extend the product’s lifespan.
Note: Long-term operation under high-load conditions may accelerate mechanical wear and shorten the service life of the turntable.
3. Load Capacity Limitation Based on Object Size
The actual load capacity is further affected by the size of the object placed on the turntable:
If the largest edge length of the object exceeds the diameter of the turntable’s rotating surface, the effective load capacity must be recalculated using the torque conservation formula:
The largest edge length of the target rotating object (or modified disk surface) is D2. When the largest edge length of the rotating object (or after modifying the disk surface) exceeds the original turntable disk diameter, the effective maximum stepping mode load at this time becomes SX2, and the effective maximum continuous rotation load becomes CX2. Considering the service life of the turntable, the calculation is based on 80% of the maximum load. When the largest edge length of the rotating object (or after modifying the disk surface) exceeds the turntable disk surface dimensions, the new effective load assessment formula is as follows: (Torque Conservation)
D1×SX1×80%=D2×SX2
D1×CX1×80%=D2×CX2
Where:
D1: Original turntable disk diameter (in cm)
SX1: Maximum stepping mode load of the original turntable (in kg)
CX1: Maximum continuous rotation load of the original turntable (in kg)
D2: Largest edge length of the target object or modified disk (in cm)
SX2: Effective maximum stepping mode load when D2 > D1
CX2: Effective maximum continuous rotation load when D2 > D1
Example Calculation
For example, for model MT400RUWPSL100ProV6-W, the maximum stepping mode load is 100 kg, and the maximum continuous rotation load is 225 kg. If a 60 cm object is placed on it:
- At this point, the maximum stepping mode load is SX2, According to the formula: 40CM * 100kg * 80% = 60CM * SX2, we calculate: SX2 = 53.3 kg.
- At this point, the maximum continuous rotation load is CX2, According to the formula: 40CM * 225kg * 80% = 60CM * CX2, we calculate: CX2 = 120 kg.
This principle ensures that users can accurately calculate and adjust the safe load capacity depending on their specific usage scenario and object size.
